Students will learn about different careers and how to get the job they want. Over 20 workshops will be offered in such diverse fields as law enforcement, medicine, cosmetology, engineering, sports, and more!

M-SPIRE is a 2-week summer program at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) for high school and community college students that focuses on materials science and engineering.UCI engineers and scientists lead the project-based activities and mentor M-SPIRE participants. M-SPIRE also aims to inspire and prepare students to pursue bachelor's degrees in materials-related fields. This program is FREE for students. Must be a rising high school junior or senior with a minimum 3.00 unweighted cumulative GPA. Applications are due by Friday, March 14th, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST.
