The program will be held at Anaheim High School.
Cisco Women in Technology is opening applications for their virtual High School Summer Coding Bootcamp. This Bootcamp a one-week free virtual program. It is designed to give students the chance to be mentored by professionals and get hands on experience in programming. The curriculum focuses on 3 levels - beginner, intermediate, and advanced computer science projects. The program is open to all high school students, regardless of their programming experience. Open to everyone regardless of coding experience. Application deadline is June 2.
Vital Link is offering a FREE Academy at Cypress College for students interested in the engineering pathway. Students will learn directly from college professors, about programs offered at their local college, to develop engineering skills by building bionic kits and about career opportunities in the bionics field. 30 student slots available, incoming 9th graders are welcomed. Registration will closed when capacity is reached.
This program offers a unique opportunity for students like you to discover different career options, gain valuable skills, and prepare for your future endeavors. Academy will be held in-person at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. Registration deadline is May 30th.
Discover and get ready for your healthcare career! The academy provides a day of hands-on mentorship to gain technical skills. Shadow local first responders and experience their daily work firsthand. Open to current 11th and 12th graders.
This event is for female students ages 14-18 looking at a career in construction, engineering, architecture design, and a myriad of other disciplines with a special emphasis on introducing young women to the trades and possibilities that exist within the construction industry.
