The Rosendin Foundation is expanding their FREE construction summer camp, TRF Camp Build, and are now offering a week-long camp in Commerce, CA! Students who are currently in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade (rising 7th/8th/9th) are eligible to apply. Our goal is to show girls and boys that construction is a lucrative industry and could be a viable, sustainable career path for their future. Location: LA Electrical Training Institute – 6023 Garfield Ave. Commerce, CA.

M-SPIRE is a 2-week summer program at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) for high school and community college students that focuses on materials science and engineering.UCI engineers and scientists lead the project-based activities and mentor M-SPIRE participants. M-SPIRE also aims to inspire and prepare students to pursue bachelor's degrees in materials-related fields. This program is FREE for students. Must be a rising high school junior or senior with a minimum 3.00 unweighted cumulative GPA. Applications are due by Friday, March 14th, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST.
